If you follow Floyd Mayweather, then you already know this is a man who makes millions of dollars in a matter of minutes. His career earnings are over $400 million. Regardless of how you feel about the outspoken boxer, when it comes to cars, he’s got some serious purchasing power.
Floyd decided to flex some of that power and shelled out a jaw dropping $4.8 million on his latest addition to a stellar collection.
Only the world’s most expensive car: the V8 CCXR Trevita by Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg.
Only two examples of the Trevita exist. While three were planned, the complexity and massive time commitment of constructing its unique weaved carbon fiber body convinced the carmakers to stop at two.
It’s not just about what’s on the outside that distinguishes the Trevita from its supercar peers. However, its unique carbon fiber coating offered in a silvery white pigment is like nothing you’ve seen before. According to carmaker’s site, ”Trevita” is a Swedish abbreviation that translates into “three whites”. The effect is a brilliant diamond like sparkle when sunlight hits the car’s many shapely curves.

According to Koneigsegg, prior to the Trevita, carmakers only had access to traditional black carbon fibers. The Koenigsegg visible carbon weave bodywork has become renowned around the globe for its uniqueness and flawless design.

Floyd ’s new Trevita rockets from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds flat. It also features double carbon rear wing, inconel exhaust system like those used in Formula 1 racing, carbon ceramic brakes with ABS, airbags, paddle-shift, chrono instrument cluster, infotainment system, tire monitoring system and a hydraulic lifting system. The Trevita is sure to have the champ riding in supreme style and getting anywhere he needs to, quickly.

At $4.8 million, the Koneigsegg Trevita takes the title of world’s most expensive car cresting over the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster (shown here).

Mayweather also has some other sweet rides. Back in January he became the 399th owner of a Ferrari Enzo in the classic Ferrari red. Also pictured is his Mercedes SLR with a fresh custom coat of paint. Most car collectors would die happy with these two in the garage. Mayweather’s collection is just getting started.

The champ likes to have his family riding in style too. He might not be quite ready for his license, but the champ’s son is already killing the car game. As if you should expect any less, Floyd had a custom gold Bentley golf cart made as a gift for his son’s 15th birthday. We can only imagine what’s on the horizon for his 16th.

What world champion’s car collection would be complete without a Bugatti or two…or three. Yes that’s correct, to top it off Mayweather sports a fleet of these world-class icons of luxury and power. The collection includes two Veyrons and a Grand Sport, each worth about $2 million. Don’t forget, Mayweather also owns the jet in the background. They don’t call him Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather for nothing.
